Moving Towards a Phenomenology of Home, 2008
Using an SX70 polaroid and 4x5 view camera, I explored and documented my son’s Kaleidoscope dollhouse, a miniature version of the seemingly pristine space documented in architecture magazines. The images were made to create scenarios that are similar to film stills. Recreated moments of inner reflection, which are heavy with the multiple moods contained in a household. These thoughts are consigned to an inner silence by a seemingly benign daily routine.
